Milford Elks Lodge #1589 to Hold Annual Christmas Day Dinner for Those in Need
Annual Christmas Day Dinner to be held from 11am to 2pm in the Milford Elks Lodge
The Milford Elks Lodge #1589 has announced its annual Christmas Day Dinner for those in need, to be held from 11am to 2pm in the Milford Elks Lodge hall located at 124 New Haven Avenue, Milford.
This event, a tradition for over 20 years, has become a welcome and much needed service for the Milford and West Haven communities. Each year, between 110 and 150 people attend the dinner, enjoying a hot meal, music and companionship on Christmas Day. The dinner is made possible thanks to the hard work of a team of Milford Elks volunteers, with 25 to 50 people needed to pull off the event.
The cost of the dinner, with a budget of $1,500, is covered by donations and grants from the Elks national office.
