A Sea of 30,000 Daffodils Now Blooming at Aquila’s Nest Vineyards
By Aquila's Nest Vineyards April 15, 2025
Sandy Hook, CT – April 2025 – Spring has arrived in spectacular fashion at Aquila’s Nest Vineyards, where over 30,000 daffodils are now in full bloom across the vineyard’s rolling hills. Carefully planted between the grapevines last fall, these cheerful yellow blooms were placed one bulb at a time with a single goal in mind—to delight our guests with a magical springtime display. Despite a bout of chilly April weather, the daffodils have emerged beautifully, creating a breathtaking scene rarely seen in a vineyard setting. This floral showcase offers guests a uniquely immersive experience that blends nature’s beauty with the vineyard’s charm. “We envisioned a spring where guests could sip wine while surrounded by golden blooms,” said the team at Aquila’s Nest. “It’s incredibly rewarding to see that vision come to life—and even more exciting to know these fields will only grow more stunning as the daffodils multiply year after year.” This Sunday, guests attending our annual Egg Hunt will also get to enjoy the daffodil bloom in full effect. The event is almost sold out , and it’s one of the most whimsical ways to experience the vineyard’s springtime magic. To view the daffodil fields, guests must reserve outdoor seating or book one of the vineyard’s signature experiences, including: Igloo Spheres / Fairy Gazebos The Forbidden Fireplace Pergola with Fire Pits Fire Pit Circles Each reservation offers a beautiful view to this limited-time bloom—perfect for springtime celebrations, date nights, and unforgettable photo moments. Reservations are required and can be made online at www.aquilasnestvineyards.com . The daffodil bloom is expected to peak over the next few weeks, so early bookings are encouraged. Come raise a glass to spring among the daffodils at Aquila’s Nest Vineyards—where nature, wine, and wonder intertwine.

Prepare to be spellbound as indie phenomenon The Moonrise Cartel, takes the stage with the full band at Park City Music Hall for an electrifying performance on Thursday, May 22 at 8pm. Known for their hauntingly perfect songwriting and vocals that are both new yet reminiscent of your favorite album, The Moonrise Cartel promises an unforgettable evening of musical magic. Stephanie Harrison's voice has been deservingly likened to the greats; her sound and perfect pitch is often compared to Linda Ronstadt and Emmylou Harris. Al Pascarelli has honed his craft of honest and beautiful songwriting that is simple in the best way possible. His deep, gravelly tone offers the perfect counterpoint to Stephanie. Sean O'Reilly consistently creates masterful piano accompaniments that take the songs to gut wrenching and foot stomping levels. His playing is likened to a combination of Tori Amos and Bruce Hornsby. Rounding out the low end with a pulse that is both powerful and effortlessly fluid is Benj LeFevre on bass and Steve Tobey on drums. Worth noting is the undeniable presence of fellow musicians in the audience wherever they go. This speaks volumes about the caliber of their performances, as musicians themselves recognize and appreciate the band's exceptional skill and artistry. Stephanie and Al's incredible vocals, coupled with Al Pascarelli's masterful songwriting, are sure to propel The Moonrise Cartel from Black Rock onto the charts - they’re latest release, Set To Stun , has over 75,000 streams on Spotify . With past performances including opening for Buddy Guy and Sophie B. Hawkins, The Moonrise Cartel is the one to watch!
