DOG-A-WEEN CELEBRATIONS!
It's time for Howl-A-Ween!

As with most years, there are tons of Halloween activities for kids. But, dogs are family too so we have found some fun Halloween activities for dogs (and of course their human family members)!
HARBOR POINT HOWL-O-WEEN PET COSTUME PARADE!
Where: 101 Commons Park South, by the fountain, Stamford
When: October 29th from1:00 pm - 3:00 pm
What: Leashed, well behaved dogs will be on parade, with prizes awarded for best costume, scariest costume, best character from a tv show or movie, best collaboration between a dog and its owner, and best theme group for owners and dogs.

Trick(s) (F)or Treat(s) Yappy Hour!
Where: 314 Beer Garden, 314 Wilson Ave., Norwalk
When: October 25 from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
What: From the 314 Beer Garden website: "It’s our first Trick(s) (F)or Treat(s) Yappy Hour!
Bring your mutt dressed up to strut their stuff around the beer garden and win prizes and treats for best costume and best trick!
Meet up with old friends and make new ones at our monthly FUNdraiser event for local dog rescues.
This month we are welcoming back Lucky Dog Refuge as our charity partner.
We will be donating $1 for every draft beer sold during Yappy Hour.
Anxious Pup Club will be here again providing mini Reiki sessions for the pups as well as calming tips and oils for sale AND The Pampered Pup Patisserie will be here as well with delicious goodies available for purchase. Don’t forget to Paws for Photo in the photo booth brought to you by Wild Tails Adventure Club (with new photo props)!"

Howl and Prowl
Where: Pet Pantry Warehouse- Greenwich Common, 290 Greenwich Ave, Greenwich
When: October 30 from 1:00 PM 4:00 PM
What: Free admission, $20 to enter costume contest. It will be a family fun event with things to do for everyone, including giveaways for your pets and a pet costume contest.

Newtown Howl-O-Ween Dog Party
Where: Newtown Park & Bark Dog Park, 21 Old Farm Road, Newtown
When: October 29 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm
What: A special event for you and your pups with fun games and prizes and a costume contest! Costume contest will have winners in these categories: scariest, cutest, most original, best human look a like and of course best in show. Fee is $10 per dog, cash only if paid at the event. Proceeds benefit the dog park.

Howl-O-Ween Dog Costume Party
Where: Bethlehem Vineyard- 46 Town Line Rd, Bethlehem
When: October 30th from 1:00 pm- 5:00 pm
What: From the event's Facebook page, the day's activities include:
*Canine Costume Contest - categories are best superhero, best movie character, best tv/storybook character, best musical talent and most original
*Pet/Owner Combination Costume Contest - categories are funniest, most original and best
*Trick N Treat - Dog owner will have their dog perform her or her best trick
*Doggie Dash - 20 yard dash down a vineyard row responding to owner's call. Owner can call, cajole or use whatever incentives necessary
*Dogs Gone Wild - 10 minutes of the wildly unexpected. Categories to be judged: furthest runaway, friendliest, arrestable offense, most loyal to owner
Fee is $10 per contestant, which covers all events.
