Overview:

Our primary goal at Rising Stars is to offer a complete theatrical and musical education to any student with an emphasis on developing the young artist through our "quadruple threat method"- singing, acting, dancing, and musicianship - students gain the tools to rise to any challenge thrown at them in the audition room.

Rising Stars began ten years ago as a pre-professional program offering classes in audition preparation, acting, and advanced vocal performance. As the program flourished, we started to add musicianship for singers classes, our internalized dance program, and finally, our Company program.

The Company program is our audition-only high school degree program that mimics a Musical Theatre Conservatory Program. Students receive discounted classes, free masterclasses, and built-in career counseling.

In addition to our Company program, production classes, workshops, and dance classes, Rising Stars Performing Arts has been hailed as one of the best college-bound programs in Fairfield County for the arts. Our students have been accepted to some of the country's strongest and most competitive college and conservatory programs.

Our Alum have been or are currently enrolled in world-renowned programs including NYU Tisch, Eastman School of Music, Boston Conservatory, Carnegie Mellon, Shenandoah Conservatory, Hartt School of Music, Oberlin Conservatory, Marymount Manhattan College, the University of the Arts, and more!
